When traveling with Iryo, passengers are allowed to bring the following:
- Two large items of luggage: These must not exceed 85x55x35 cm in size. Examples include suitcases, duffel bags, or similar items.
- One small hand item: This can include a handbag, laptop bag, or small backpack, with dimensions not exceeding 36x27x15 cm.
For the safety and comfort of all passengers:
- All luggage must fit into the designated storage areas, including overhead racks or the luggage compartments at the end of each coach.
- Luggage must not obstruct aisles, doorways, or seating areas.
- Musical instruments: Instruments are allowed as part of your luggage if they meet size restrictions. Larger instruments like guitars may need specific handling.
- Sports equipment: Items such as skis, golf clubs, or similar must be securely packed in appropriate cases and adhere to size limits. One item per passenger is allowed.
- Strollers: Foldable strollers are not counted toward the luggage allowance but must be stored appropriately to avoid obstructing other passengers.
- Prohibited items: Dangerous or hazardous materials, including flammable substances, sharp objects, and oversized items not covered by the policy, are strictly prohibited.
Exceeding the luggage allowance may result in additional fees or restrictions at the station or onboard. Please ensure your items meet the required dimensions and weight limits to avoid delays or complications.
Lost or damaged luggage:In the event of lost or damaged luggage, please report the issue to Iryo staff immediately or visit the lost and found service managed by ADIF at major stations.
